After a long wait, with a lot of previews and teases in between, Orbx has finally released the highly anticipated Stockholm-Arlanda Airport (ESSA). The airport has been developed by Marcus Nyberg in collaboration with JetStream Designs.
Stockholm Arlanda Airport is the main airport serving the Swedish capital city of Stockholm. The airport is an important hub in the Nordic countries, and the third busiest airport in the region. It serves as a hub for Scandinavian Airlines (SAS), and a focus city Eurowings, Finnair, Norwegian and Ryanair.
Orbx’s rendition of the airport comes packed with details. From high quality vehicle signs to detailed passenger signs and terminal interior, there is always something new to discover or look for. The airport buildings and structures have been modeled in high quality, although we weren’t expecting anything else from Marcus and JetStream Designs. The airport also features animated jetways and a functional VDGS system. There are also nice weather influenced effects, such as snowbanks and snow trucks. Animated vehicles can appear influenced by the weather as well.
