Following the announcement last week, Orbx has released Boise Airport for Microsoft Flight Simulator.
Boise Airport (KBOI) is a multi-purpose airport serving both commercial and military traffic. The ATC tower at the airport is a standout thanks to its towering height of 295 feet. It is actually one of the tallest buildings in Idaho, providing great views across the whole airport. The current passenger terminal opened in 2003 and sees eight airlines provide 26 destinations across the US – many airports Orbx has recreated for MSFS.
Orbx has created the airport to include custom buildings, groundpoly and 60cm ortho imagery in the area. Furthermore, there is PBR texturing across the product, along with custom military models that are static at several points around Boise Airport.
