Often referred to as USS LaGuardia, the airport features two short runways and is surrounded by water from the East River. As such, it makes for a challenging approach over the busy city below. The airport serves domestic routes only due to a lack of border controls at the small airport. Common airlines to be spotted at LaGuardia include Delta, JetBlue, Southwest, United and Spirit Airlines.
