Scenery developer MK-Studios has released their rendition of Barcelona-El Prat Airport (LEBL) for MSFS. The airport serves the city of Barcelona and is the second largest and second busiest airport in Spain. It’s a hub for several airlines, including Iberia and Vueling. The airport is also a focus city for EasyJet and Ryanair. The airport has a large number of collections to destinations all around the world.
MK-Studios teased the development of Barcelona-El Prat Airport just several days ago, alongside the announcement of their new Discord server. The scenery already appeared in advanced stages in the previews shared at the time.
MK-Studios has recreated the airport with attention to detail, featuring custom modelling and custom, high resolution textures. The terminal features an interior with signage, benches, escalators and more. For those not to keen on looking inside the terminal, the vast apron also features plenty of details throughout; busses, baggage carts, cargo containers , catering vehicles, push-back tugs and more can be found all around the airport. The developer has carefully recreated the iconic ATC tower, and on approach or departure you can enjoy a custom made harbour and custom points of interest.
MK-Studios’ Barcelona-El Prat is available for €15,99, although it’s currently on sale for €12,79 over on SimMarket (coming to other stores soon).
While MK-Studios version is already available, Aerosoft has announced that the Sim-Wings version of Barcelona-El Prat is not far behind and is currently scheduled for a March 4 release.
