The FlyByWire A32NX continues to get new features and improvements. Whilst not all of the improvements are to do with the actual flight dynamics or systems, there are other components of the plane that help to enhance the overall immersion of the plane. In the latest video from the development team, we see how the new ambience and passenger sounds add a whole new level of detail to the aircraft product.
Over the past year and a half, the FlyByWire team has worked to create a more immersive and realistic sound package. That work has been done to totally replace the default Asobo sounds and ultimately make the plane even better.
In the video (above), we are given a tour of the aircraft both inside and out with the new ambient sound effects in action. For example, the hydraulic pumps now make a noise went the cargo bays open and you can now hear passengers when in the cabin. Wind now takes over the sound of the engines once up in the cruise and crew announcements are also played at various phases of flight. In the 11-minute video, you will get a great idea of the many improvements the new sound package includes and how it enhances the immersion.
The A32NX continues to improve with new and incredible features that sometimes aren’t even found in payware solutions. In order to ensure the A32NX is as robust as possible, the team decided to remove it from the in-sim Marketplace and confirmed that an Xbox version just won’t be possible. You can also learn more about the updated LNAV, additional ground service equipment, inclusion of CPDLC, and more in our previous posts.
Remember, the FlyByWire A32NX is totally free for everyone. You can download the A32NX by FlyByWire now from their website via the custom-built installer.
