FlyByWire Shares New Overview on their A380 for MSFS

A real long look at the A380 coming from FlyByWire Simulations.

During the FSWeekend seminar session at the FSElite Theater, FlyByWire Simulations took to the stage to share some new information about their upcoming A380 for Microsoft Flight Simulator.

In the 10-minute video, we saw the team start up the APU, complete engine checks and begin taxiing. We saw onboard airport maps with taxiway information, data inputted into the MCDU and saw the full routing in the display. Furthermore, the displays also showcased things such as cabin door status, engines and temperature.

The sounds in the video were also really showcased in the video. Everything from the APU start up sounds to the take off roll. When the flaps are lowered, we hear the hydraulics working. The video concluded with the engine shutting down and a quick tour of the cabin.

The video is a really good demonstration of how far the team has come since the project began. As usual, we will follow any progress and update you accordingly.
