Horizon Simulations and Kurorin have released the V3 update for their freeware Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner for Microsoft Flight Simulator.
V3 by the Horizon Simulations team and Kurorin further works on the Asobo Studio & Working Title AAU2 (aircraft and avionics update 2) overhaul that was made to Microsoft Flight Simulator’s Boeing 787-10 which is included for owners of the Premium Deluxe Edition of the simulator. Version 3 also brings the Boeing 787-8 up to the same level of systems and the flight model of Horizon Simulations’ 787-9. The team have mentioned that the B787-8 now looks and feels like a new plane to fly due to new PBR textures, system improvements as well and much more.
The Horizon Simulations team also announced that the Boeing 787-10 is soon to get the Horizon Simulations treatment. However, they have said that they don’t have anything to show right now, but you can keep an eye out for updates by joining their discord server.
This new update includes WT0.1.18 systems, an updated flight model, new PFD, CDU and MFD colours, togglable SatCom, EFB door page, new PBR texturing, new wing flex and more.
