The folks over at Just Flight are busy developing the Avro Vulcan for Microsoft Flight Simulator and progress is looking good. The developers shared a quick “in-development” update on their website, teasing new screenshots, and providing us with some more information on what’s going on behind the scenes.
For starters, Just Flight mentioned that the interior features photo-realistic textures with accurate wear and tear located in the same locations as the reference aircraft. Furthermore, aside from some small fixes here and there with minor bugs (some of which were pointed out by the community), the aircraft systems themselves are now fully functional. In fact, Just Flight have said that they are completing full flights already!
New to the MSFS version are the addition of 3D-modeled AAP, SSP, ACP, TACAN, and IFF panels from the aft cockpit. The details will be ironed out as the testing team provides feedback on the multiple options of accessing the panels, including keyboard, click spots, etc. Finally, Just Flight are working on finalizing animations such as movable armrests, ejector seat pins, sun visors, blinds, and a movable center fuel console between the pilot’s seat.
Stay tuned for more updates covered by FSElite, especially the sound update coming up shortly. Until then, check out some screenshots below. For the full update including more screenshots, check out the original post on Just Flight’s website.
