A big new update for iniBuilds’ A300-600R is now available that adds the long-awaited Pratt & Whitney engines, and also the IDC modern radio panel. This new update is freely available right now in your account.
Kicking off the massive changelog is the addition of the new engine variants for both the freighter and passenger versions of the plane. The PW engines represent a significant amount of work from the team to implement and every nuance has been carefully modelled here, including the new primary thrust measurement (EPR – Engine Pressure Ratio). There are also custom sounds for the new engines along with accurate systems incorporated.
The next big change is the inclusion of the new IDC modern radio panel, which also has CPDLC and ACARS systems and sounds. The video below is a great overview of the new engine type and how the new radio panel is implemented along with how you can use its unique functions.
Other new features include the addition of a new en route moving map for Navigraph, a new EFB Landing Distance Calculation performance page, and also improved VNAV.
