After last week’s announcement that FlightSimLabs has given a release candidate to the testing team, the team is back with a lengthy and detailed video of their upcoming Concorde for Prepar3D. The nearly 12 minute video shows the cockpit and instruments as the flight crew prepares the plane for it’s transatlantic journey from New York to London.

According to Andrew Wilson, who shared the video over on the FSLabs forums, the goal of the video is to give people an idea of the ‘Virtual Crew System’ that the team has been developing for the Concorde. The VCS includes roles for the First Officer and Flight Engineer and will help you manage the workload during the flight by going through cockpit procedures, scans and checklists. The VCS includes a voice set for the British pilots, as can be heard in the video, as well as for the French pilots.

Additionally, as can also be heard in the video, there are seven additional sound sets for the ground crew that you can interact with. A cabin crew simulation has also been included into the Concorde, similar to the developer’s Airbus. The cabin crew sounds have been tailored for British Airways and Air France, who of course operated the famous aircraft.
