Captain Sim has released the 767-300ER GE Expansion for their 767 Captain III. The GE expansion adds this specific airplane and engine variant to the 767 Captain III base package.
The expansion includes a 767-300ER model with 2 different door configurations (6 and 4 door). It comes with high resolution textures, a cabin with 3D windows, animations and a livery pack that includes 6 liveries.
The 767 Captain III base package, which is required to use this expansion, has previously been met with certain controversy. The aircraft add-on features a 767 3D model, but does not feature custom systems or flight dynamics, and instead is built upon MSFS’ default 747. Furthermore, the company recently found itself in a new controversy after removing the paint kit for their aircraft for both Prepar3D and MSFS, in a move that the company itself explained as a measure to “ensure quality of their liveries“.
Captain Sim’s 767-300ER GE Expansion is available for $14.99 USD, though is “on sale” for $9.99 USD. The base pack ($29.99) is required, and additional liveries are sold in livery packs available for $9.99 each.
