Sim developers BlueBird Simulations say they are ‘optimistic’ about releasing the Boeing 757 in 2024, and say their independently developed Boeing 767 has been worked on in the past twelve months.
In an announcement on their Discord page, BlueBird Simulations, who announced their 757 project in early 2022, say they are ‘optimistic about 2024’ and endeavour to provide a ‘much more in-depth update on the 757’ later this month, after delaying the project in 2023.
Furthermore the Boeing 757’s larger sister, the Boeing 767, has also been worked on, with the post stating the team have worked on the 767 ‘completely independent from the 757’.
A solitary image of the 767’s nose is all that has been revealed at this time, an image they say was taken six months ago, with the team keen to stress ‘it’s progressed a lot more since then, but we won’t share too much more until later in the year’.
The single-aisle 757 and twin-aisle 767 are two iconic aircraft, having been in operation across the globe and still very much in service to this day. Interest from the simulator community is high, with simmers keen to get their hands on these iconic aircraft. FSElite will keep you up to date with the latest of their progress.
