Blackbird Simulations has announced a new aircraft over on their YouTube page. A short teaser trailer introduces the T6A ADV, featuring a brief fly-by of the plane. More information was not yet shared by the team, other than a closing caption of the trailer that states ‘Coming Soon’.

The T6A ADV is a Beechcraft T-6 Texan II. It’s a training aircraft used by the US Air Force, US Navy and US Marine Corps for basic pilot training, CSO training, NFO training and more. It’s also used by several other armies around the world for pilot training.

Based on the Pilatus PC-9 aircraft line, the Texan II first flew in 1998. It was built by Raytheon Aircraft Company, and since 2014 by Textron Aviation.
