Aeroplane Heaven’s upcoming Avro Lancaster appears to be getting closer and closer to take-off. The team is back with a slew of previews over on their Facebook page. The previews show every aspect of the plane, from some nice exterior shots to detailed and up-close interior shots where the crew is at work. We get to see the gunners positions, radio and navigation, flight engineer and much more. We also get to see the aircraft on the ground, with various pieces of age-appropriate ground equipment around it, as well as a sneak peak inside the bomb bay.
According to Aeroplane Heaven’s status update, the aircraft is getting closer to release. The modelling and texture work are nearing completion, and we can certainly see some of the improvements that have been made since the last previews that still showed a lot of untextured parts.
