Scenery developer FSimStuidos has released a significant update for its Halifax Stanfield International Airport (CYHZ) on Microsoft Flight Simulator.
The update sees big performance gains thanks to adapting new MSFS techniques across the whole airport. The team says this ensures that the performance is consistent even with new details added. The terminal has been remodelled and retextured with brand new PBR materials, along with a much higher quality interior model that is accurate as of March 2024.
FSimStudios has also implemented new ground polygon techniques, added Taxiway N and the new cargo apron (Apron 3), as well as updated all taxiway signage. The full changelog is below.
You can get this significant update free of charge if you’re already a customer through your original place of purchase. It will be updated via the Marketplace soon, whilst other stores should be already updated or close enough.
