X-Plane 12 has been in an ‘early access’ state for a few months now, with multiple updates released during this period of time fixing bugs and adding new aircraft to the fray. However, Laminar Research is now just a few weeks away from releasing X-Plane 12 as a full release.
To celebrate this, the team has commissioned AviationLads to create the official trailer for X-Plane 12. This new trailer highlights many of the improvements since X-Plane 11, including true volumetric clouds, 3D forests, an improved weather system and much more.
In addition, X-Plane 12 will also come with 18 aircraft from the Piper Cub to the Airbus A330. The A330 itself is a highly detailed rendition of the large commercial jet, with a functional MCDU, an array of system functionality and much more. Seasonal textures and weather effects will also be simulated correctly worldwide, adding a new layer of the thought process for any virtual pilot.
X-Plane 12 officially launches as a full version in December, with a DVD version releasing afterwards in early 2023.
