Orbx has started the week by announcing their second all-new airport for Microsoft Flight Simulator. Graz Airport (LOWG) is located in the second-largest city in Austria and features a long 3000m runway allowing for aircraft of all sizes to visit the airport.
Graz Airport from Orbx will feature 75 square KM of custom 30cm orthoimagery which will blend in with the airport and its surroundings. Furthermore, the airport will include animated signage, interior boarding gate areas and also animated SUVs patrolling the G-Class Experience Center. As with other airports from Orbx, Graz Airport will have PBR texture work, unique 3D modelling for the terminals and more.
Graz Airport is also home to blackshark.ai, who helped to create Microsoft Flight Simulator and bring the world to life.
The first screenshots of the product have been shared on Orbx’s forums with many of them posted here for you to view.
We’ll continue to monitor the development and be sure to inform you upon release or any additional previews.
