An all new software package claiming boldly to be “the most advanced passenger application” for flight simulation should be coming soon to the flight simulation space.
Passenger2 is claiming to boast a lot of interesting features, such as a career mode, passenger satisfaction ratings, advanced cabin announcements, achievements and random events among other things. In Passenger2’s first press release, Lead Developer Scott Thompson says “Having entered advanced development stages, we are ready to excite the Flight Simulator community with advanced passenger realism”.
Passenger2 is expected to launch in Q4 2023, and will be “competitively priced”.

The single screenshot we do have of the product at this stage appears to show a top-down view of an aircraft’s fuselage, full of seated passengers. We can also see live flight parameters (which are all synced up via FSUIPC) as well as a “passenger satisfaction” score and buttons for announcement, flight service, automation, and window size.
The program will apparently feature crew announcements and safety videos, generate random events such as drunk passengers and medical emergencies, a handful of achievements and a cabin monitor.
FSElite will continue to cover development on Passenger2 and bring more updates when they are made available.
