Navigraph Announces ‘Annotations’ for Charts (Now Released)

Announced in the FSElite Theatre at FSWeekend 2024, Navigraph has confirmed they will be bringing one of the most requested features to their popular Charts app. ‘Annotations’ brings useful and popular markdown features.

You can draw your custom annotations, allowing you to, for example, highlight taxi routes or make notes at important sections of your charts. Annotations can be made in multiple colours and with multiple brushes. Highlights can be made with squares and circles allowing for quick and convenient markdown.

Annotations are not just limited to the charts section of Navigraph though. You can also make annotations in the operational flight plan section of the Charts application. Similar to the Charts annotations, you can make custom annotations or quick highlights with selected shapes. The Annotations feature will also be expanded to the weather section of OFP charts.

Navigraph Charts Annotations is now available for all Charts apps on all platforms. It supports drawing with pencil devices on tablets as well as cloud support, making sure your annotations are synchronised should you continue your journey on another device.
