Fabio Merlo has just released a significant update to his Flight Control Replay product on MSFS and P3D. The new free update has added the ability to control camera movements and override the controls found within Microsoft Flight Simulator.
The new camera movements update allows you to record and replay the camera movements completely independently from the aircraft flight. With this new mode, there are new options to choose from:
- You can either record the usual aircraft flight, as you have always done.
- OR You can record at once the usual aircraft flight AND the camera movements at once in the same and unique flight situation file.
- OR you can prefer to record ONLY the camera movements, in its respective FCR file.
An example was given by Fabio on how this new feature could be used:
“For example, you can use this new feature to work an advanced camera path, impressive camera effects, in order to apply them to several and different flight situation Replays, to replicate these camera moves in multiple videos.”
To achieve the above example, a new camera control override has been added to the Microsoft Flight Simulator version of Flight Control Replay. By setting control keys within Flight Control Replay, you will override the controls in MSFS.
Flight Control Replay v4.5 is available now from simMarket as a free download for current customers. If you have yet to pick it up, you can buy it from simMarket for €12.00 (it’s on sale from €15.00).
