Famous Flyer #5: Antonov An-2 Released

The older brother of the An-225, the An-2, also makes its way to MSFS.

Originally slated to be the first Famous Flyer, the Antonov An-2 is finally released as Famous Flyer #5. The older brother of the An-225 can now finally take to the virtual skies, thanks to the efforts of Microsoft and ATSimulations.

The Antonov An-2 is a versatile and durable biplane. It first flew in 1947 and was produced all the way until 2001. The aircraft was popular in both military as well as civilian service, and over its lifespan saw several iterations with several different functions.

The rendition in MSFS has been brought to life by ATSimulations. The aircraft package features a civilian version of the plane with wheels, skids and floats, complete with several liveries. It is available on the MSFS Marketplace for $14.99 USD.
