Drzewiecki Design Previews Tallinn Airport for MSFS

After releasing their highly anticipated Newark scenery, Drzewiecki Design is wasting no time jumping into their next project for MSFS. Recently, the developer took to social media to share some photo previews of the upcoming airport, Tallinn Airport.

Tallinn Airport is the largest airport in Estonia and is even large enough to accommodate a Boeing 747. In 2009, the airport was renamed to Lennart Meri Tallinn Airport to honor President Lennart Meri, the second president of Estonia and a key member in the Estonian independence movement. The airport serves as a hub for the Estonian national airline Nordica, airBaltic, and SmartLynx Airlines Estonia. Passenger traffic has steadily grown during the 2000s, and as a result, the airport underwent a major terminal expansion and apron refurbishment between 2006 and 2008.

In this round of photo previews, Drzewiecki Design mainly highlighted the terminal buildings’ interior and the exterior buildings’ initial renderings. Between the children’s play structure near the boarding area and the airline wall advertisements at the check-in desks, Drzewiecki Design is continuing its trend of making highly detailed terminal interiors for their MSFS sceneries.

On the outside, the exterior modeling looks similar to the real-life airport, and it will be interesting to see how they progress in the next couple of weeks. While Drzewiecki Design did not share many details on features nor a timeline for the scenery’s progress, they did share in the post’s comments that some of the landmarks of the city of Tallinn will also be modeled in the scenery.

FSElite will continue to monitor the development of this scenery and share any future previews.
