Developer BravoAirspace has confirmed that their Boeing 787-8 will be released for Microsoft Flight Simulation via the in-sim Marketplace on Thursday, 30th November 2023. The release is dedicated to Xbox owners who will be able to take the Boeing wide-body aircraft to the skies.
The 787-8 is the smallest of the Boeing jets from the 787 family. It is popular amongst airlines thanks to its aerodynamic design, great fuel burn rate, take-off performance and ability to connect smaller regional airports that may not have as much demand for specific routes. Passengers also love the plane thanks to its large windows, spacious-feeling cabin, and lower cabin pressure, enabling people to feel more refreshed once they leave the plane.
The team has included a custom model with a passenger cabin modelled, enabling you to take a walk through the cabin whilst in the cruise. Both General Electric and Rolls Royce engine types are both modelled, complete with custom sounds for aircraft. There is also a custom flight model, cockpit modifications and an onboard EFB enabling you to integrate with SimBrief and Navigraph.
A number of liveries is also included with the plane such as Air Canada, ANA, TUI, LATAM, Jetstar and United Airlines.
When the BravoAirspace 787-8 is made available, it will cost approximately $16.00 USD. The team also said on social media that they intend to provide updates over the course of time to continuously improve the plane.
