Boris Audio Works has released a new paid addon which replaces and improves the sounds associated with the default Cessna 172 for X-Plane 11/12.
The developer, which is the brain child of Boris Vanian, previously released a similar addon for the default Cessna 172 in Microsoft Flight Simulator, as well as the C152 in both simulators and the Cirrus SR22 for X-Plane.
A trailer which showcases the new sounds can be viewed here.
The sound package completely overhauls the default Cessna 172 Skyhawk sounds using professional recordings captured with high fidelity equipment, according to the product description. It is made to work with the default X-Plane 12 Skyhawk but is also compatible with the X-Plane 11 Skyhawk with some minor differences.
- Highly accurate engine sounds reacting to many factors, such as oil temperature, speed, and even g-load.
- Differences between G1000 and steam gauge versions.
- Reactive airframe wind noises.
- Multi-stage stall horn.
- Accurate ground roll.
The Boris Audio Works C172 Sound Pack for XPL11/12 can be purchased on SimMarket for £10.50/$13.02 including taxes here.
