Developer AuraScenery has released Aberdeen Airport (EPGD) for Microsoft Flight Simulator.

Aberdeen Airport is in Northern Scotland and opened in 1943 to link it with London. It became a RAF Dyce, during World War II. Lots of fighter aircraft had their home base at this airport for bombing protection. Aberdeen is known for its short runways and scenic approaches over the mountains, all whilst multiple airlines fly to a varied range of destinations across the UK and Europe.

The official feature list isn’t too descriptive, telling us only a few elements of the product itself. There are 100+ detailed buildings, along with more realistic night lighting. There are high-quality apron textures and optimised models that will help with performance. The team say that they have also adjusted the nearby landscaping to make it more in-line with the real-world and blend in with the simulator’s default texturing.

You can buy it from the iniBuilds store for £11.49 (excluding taxes).
