Scenery developer UK2000 Scenery has been a little quiet lately. but they have taken to Facebook to share some new previews for another upcoming UK airport. This time, the team are heading to the Isle of Man and bringing the small airport to Prepar3D.
Isle of Man Airport (EGNS) has regular services to the UK and Ireland from easyJet, Aer Lingus, and Loganair. With a relatively short runway, the number of routes is limited, but there are some interesting options to explore; especially when the weather is bad. Quite often, easyJet will fly to the Isle of Man from Liverpool in a very short flight. There are also a number of business jet and GA flying opportunities from the airport also.
The new previews from UK2000 Scenery for IOM 2021HD showcase the airport in action. With closeups of the airport terminal, 3D objects, and also the level of detail in the ground texturing being implemented. UK2000 Scenery also confirmed that a GSX profile will also be included upon release.
For those waiting on a Microsoft Flight Simulator version, UK2000 Scenery said that there is a slight delay to it whilst they wait on Asobo Studio to fix a photo bug within the simulator.
We’ll continue to follow progress on the development and keep you informed. According to the developer, the Prepar3D version should be released in a few weeks.
