Developer SimBitWorld has updated A Pilot’s Life to version 1.4.0, which focuses on the community aspects of the application. All of these new community features start building towards a more multiplayer orientated application and community.
The new community tab will show off statistics for the whole A Pilot’s Life (APL) universe that is generated daily. For example, you can search total number of completed flights, number of hours, top airlines and more. Along with these, the users can check out the leading pilots based on XP earned in the last 7 days, 30 days and all-time most experienced users.
The lower part of the community tab contains the friendship mechanism that was implemented. Users can now search for a pilot name, send him or her a friendship request and if their request is accepted on the other side, they can see their real-time information like rating, employer, status (offline, online and in flight), flight hours, number of completed flights, most flown aircraft, etc. Friends can now also see each other’s resume, logbook, map of past flights, inventory and photo albums.
The full feature list can be found down below.
