Island hoppers, take note! Tropical scenery developer RWY26 Simulations has released its rendition of Charles Kirkconnell International Airport (MWCB) for XP11, providing fans of tropical destinations with yet another Caribbean treasure to discover.
Sir Charles Kirkconnell International Airport (MWCB) is a small international airport located on the Western edge of Cayman Brac Island. The airport serves both the local community and international holiday goers alike and is considered a hub for Cayman Island’s flag carrier, Cayman Airways.
Interestingly, the island of Cayman Brac saw the inception of regular airline service with the founding of Cayman Brac Airways, the precursor to today’s Cayman Airways, in the form of twice-weekly operated Beechcraft Beech 18 flights to and from Grand Cayman and Montego Bay. Today, the airport sees limited airline traffic, most of which comes in the form of Cayman Airways Express SAAB340 operated flights to neighboring islands, including Grand Cayman and Little Cayman.
RWY26 Simulations, known for their development of, for the great part, more exotic destinations, has recently released their rendition of this small tropical island airport for XP11. According to the product page, the scenery comes included with, among others, an accurately modeled 3D terminal building and other airport structures, HD ground textures, and PBR materials.
The scenery is now available for purchase via the simMarket online store for €10.00 E.x. VAT and can be perfectly paired with the developer’s earlier released Grand Cayman Owen Roberts International Airport (MWCR) scenery, also available via the simMarket store.
