The team of NL2000 has updated several of their scenery packages with some nice new features. To begin with, the team has created a new ‘moving objects’ library, with animating objects for the entire country. Some notable moving objects include moving trains and ships. There is also a safari park ‘De Beekse Bergen’ which will have animating animals for those eager to spend some time amongst the giraffe’s and other animals.
The team has also updated Groningen Airport Eelde (EHGG), which now includes a cirrus hangar and a new passenger walkway. The photorealistic ground textures for Groningen (province) also received an update.
Lelystad Airport (EHLE) has also received an extensive update which includes the new and extended runway, new ground textures, changes to the ATC tower, an updated apron, and last but not least new main buildings. This all in anticipation of the airport possibly opening up to commercial flights.
Furthermore, a small update has been given to Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (EHAM) with some altitude adjustments, and the team has added the new heliport in Pistoolhaven.
There are several packages that need to be downloaded in order to apply these updates, which can be found on the site of NL2000. The update comes with a new installer version, which is compatible with Prepar3D version 5. However, the team does state that they have not thoroughly tested how NL2000 works under the new simulator platform.
