Scenery developer Pilot Experience Sim (PESIM) has shared with FSElite brand new images and information for its upcoming Montpellier Airport (LFMT) release for Microsoft Flight Simulator. The French scenery developer has devoted plenty of time and resources to recreate the airport in southern France.
Whilst it may serve as the 10th busiest airport in the country, a variety of airlines visit the area bringing in passengers from all parts of the world. easyJet, Norwegian and Transavia serve routes to places such as Basel, London, Porto, Faro and more, whilst Air France provides a direct connection to Paris-Charles de Gaulle.
Since the original airport scenery release for Prepar3D, PESIM has taken the time to recreate various parts of the airport to bring it in-line with today’s standards. The complete airport has been totally retextured with the latest design and also includes PBR materials for a more realistic effect. In addition, the airport has been modernised using better 3D modelling which also brings a better performance benefit to customers using the airport. The airport also features various static aircraft, a sloped runway with matching terrain and can be updated through the PESIM Central tool when there may be updates in the future.
The team is expecting a release through simMarket in the coming days and will be made available through the Microsoft Flight Simulator Marketplace in the coming weeks. We’ll keep you updated once Pilot Experience Sim releases Montpellier Airport (LFMT) for Microsoft Flight Simulator.
