Scenery developer and MSFS partner LHSimulations further previews Budapest Intl Airport (LHBP), for Microsoft Flight Simulator.
Budapest Ferenc Liszt International Airport is located in central Hungary. The airport is considered to be the largest in Hungary with flight service to many European destinations primarily operated by Wizz Air. The airport also receives support from numerous cargo operations and serves as a major hub for LOT Polish Airlines.
Further work in progress images was previewed on the developers Facebook page. Development for the airport is in high gear as they mention all objects have already received PBR texturing. In addition, bump maps are also implemented in the scenery for a more realistic terrain mesh. A closer look shows the work put forth in developing the interior of the main terminal building. As stated 3D objects are looking nice with PBR texturing, and the amount of objects shown in the previews thus far really adds life to the airport.
“Still a lot to go but we see the light at the end of the tunnel finally!” said the team. No updates on the release date were given, however, progress is coming along nicely.
The team also mentioned in their comments section that after this scenery is released for MSFS, they plan on releasing an upgrade for P3D users. No further details were given.
