Orbx has announced that Niš Constantine the Great Airport is being developed for Microsoft Flight Simulator. The airport is the second-busiest in Serbia, after Belgrade Nikola Telsa Airport. Niš Constantine the Great Airport (LYNI) has a focus from Air Serbia with other airlines such as Wizz Air and Ryanair also offering frequent services. Destinations include Vienna, Basel, Rome and Tivat just to name a few.
Developed by Rasha Tucakov, the airport is located between a range of mountainous terrain and features a complicated approach. As with other airports from Rasha, there has been a big focus on building a detailed airport product. Using new texturing techniques and 3D modelling, the airport will be brought to life. There will also be dynamic lighting, sloped runways, complete AI integration and numerous Soviet-era static aircraft. Furthermore, the scenery product will also feature the entire city including historic landmarks such as the Niš Fortress.
A range of other previews are available to view on the Orbx forums.
