Gaffer Simulations has shared with FSElite previews of a V2 of their Johannesburg O.R. Tambo International Airport (FAOR). Johannesburg is a popular flight simulation destination among simmers. The new scenery will feature remodeled buildings, addition of previously missing buildings, reworked textures, new photoreal ground imagery, new ground polygon and new SODE jetways. While the scenery is obviously still a work in progress, the previews are promising.
Located in Johannesburg, the O.R. Tambo International Airport is the main gateway to South Africa. It is the busiest airport of the continent, handling 21 million passengers per year. It is the main hub for many airlines, among which Safair, Comair, Mango and Kulula. South African Airways, the troubled national airline, also has a hub in “Jobourg” along with its regional Express affiliate.
The V1 of Gaffer Simulations O.R. Tambo International Airport is available for Prepar3D V4 on Simmarket for €14.
