After announcing Tampa International airport in August 2018, Vertical Simulations has posted a ‘Goodie Dump’ of preview shots, over on the X-Plane forum.
Tampa International Airport is the fourth busiest airport in Florida, after Orlando, Miami and Fort-Lauderdale in terms of passenger movements at over 22 million passengers a year. The airport serves destinations across North America including New York City, Denver and Dallas as well as European destinations such as London Gatwick and Zurich. The airport is served by 27 airlines, four on which have made Tampa a major hub for their operations including Silver Airways serving local Florida and Caribbean destinations.
The ‘Goodie Dump’ of previews over on the X-Plane forum show that progress is coming along nicely in a slow and steady fashion, showcasing lots of custom PBR, 3D models; including car park, departure board and control tower. These screenshots show how much work the team at Vertical Simulations is putting into their release which is to include the surrounding area as well as the airport itself.
Although progressing well, the timeline for release is yet to be published by Vertical Simulations. In the meantime, head on over to the product announcement forum for a peek at plenty of previews of the development.
