Newcomer developer CGN Dev has shared some new progress for their upcoming 737 Classic, which is due to release for Prepar3D and Microsoft Flight Simulator. The new development update focuses on the FMC and some other areas of the cockpit’s modelling.
The update from the developer starts with the FMC. The video shared by the team highlights the work that has gone into creating the fonts for the FMC, along with some of the other page functionality. Of course, what you see is completely work in progress with plenty more still to do. Alongside that, the team also shared a range of images from the FMC, again highlighting some of the functionality including the ability to input data such as cost index, cruise altitude and weight initialisation.
Whilst the FMC is still very much in progress, the team has also had their modeller work on the pedestal within the 737 Classic aircraft. Again, nothing here is finished but represents where the team are currently at.
As for progress, the team will continue with the FMC and modelling, with work then moving to the overhead panel in the not-to-distant future.
