AOA Simulations, the aircraft developer known for their F-35 and V-22 aircraft, has released their latest venture, the F-22 Raptor for X-Plane.
The Lockheed Martin F-22 Raptor is a fourth-generation fighter aircraft with stealth capability, produced by Lockheed Martin between 1996 and 2011. The development saw nearly 200 of the type built for the USAF, only. The Raptor is famously known for its high thrust to weight ratio as well as its thrust vectoring capabilities. This means it can change the direction of the thrust from 20 degrees up to 20 degrees down, independent of each engine which gives the F-22 unprecedented manoeuvrability.
AOA Simulations has recreated the Lockheed Martin F-22 to include a custom flight model which also recreates the carefree handling of the real aircraft, a high-quality 3D model in three different loadouts (Air-to-Air, Air-to-Ground and External Fuel Tanks) with 4K PBR texturing, along with ground equipment, a fully functional cockpit with smooth VR capabilities. AOA has also included their standard aircraft features such as Basic Helmet Mounted Target Displays, functioning Auto Ground Collision Avoidance System (AGCAS) and Target Tracking view.
You can pick up the AOA Simulations Lockheed Martin F-22 Raptor for X-Plane for $40.00 from the X-Plane Store.
