Aerosoft and Sim-Wings have released their latest scenery for X-Plane, this time covering Ibiza in Spain.
Ibiza Airport, LEIB, is a seasonal airport, only having a few routes year round. The airport has a single 9,186 ft long runway, and served over 8.1 million passengers in 2018. The airport was first a a temporary military airport during the Spanish Civil War. It briefly served passengers from 1949 to 1951 before closing to passengers, but later reopen to commercial traffic in 1958.
The scenery not only features the airport, but also covered the two islands of Ibiza and Formentera. Both of the islands feature aerial photography textures with a resolution of 0.5 m/pixels, and 0.25 m/pixels for the airport. The airport has custom SAM jetways, as well as PBR ground textures.
