Q8Pilot FlyTampa Corfu for X-Plane 11 Cinematic Video (FYC)

With the unparalleled success of X-Plane as the most realistic flight simulator to-date, developers are starting to shift focus to the flight simulator of the future. FlyTampa releases the very first scenery for X-Plane, no other than the beautiful scenery of Corfu. This scenery is an exact rendition of the actual island. Trust me, this scenery is a perfect 10. Corfu International Airport (LGKR) is located on the Greek island of Corfu at Kerkyra, serving both scheduled and charter flights from European cities.

Air traffic peaks during the summer season, between April and October.

Pick it up from FlyTampa’s site.

– Corfu Ioannis Kapodistrias (LGKR) airport.

– Complete island with custom mesh, hand-placed vegetation, and 3D lighting.

– Full coverage with custom buildings and all known landmarks.

– Sloped airport terrain (X-Plane only)

– Animated apron vehicles, road traffic, and ship traffic.

– Pre-rendered self-shadowing and custom reflection maps.

I have been an avid fan of Flight Sim since the release of '2000 and have been developing my love for aviation ever since. Currently working for a UK airline, I have the knowledge and experience to really deliver an excellent aviation community. Although no real life flying experience, I have a good understanding and always learning more and more. | View My Specs

Seriously don’t know why developers waste their time with x-plane. So overrated and pointlessly.

Truly one of the dumbest comments I’ve heard to date..

“With the unparalleled success of X-Plane as the most realistic flight simulator to-date”

While that is technically true it is misleading. The vast majority of people using flight simulators also have addons and P3D is still the sim that has nearly all of the realistic addons (PMDG, FSLABS, A2A etc.) to date. So if you look it as Simulator + Addons then P3D is the most realistic simulator.

So you are saying that they shouldn’t make addons for XP because it is not as good as P3D, only because P3D has better addons. That does not make a tiniest bit of sense.

@ahmet – this isn’t a news article. It’s just a preview trailer done by Q8Pilot showing off the product.

We’re working on a first look and review of the product.

Apparently both of you guys failed to realize that Flight Factor 767,757 and A320 are all on the same level as PMDG.

Yeah, with the way first sentence is written, this sounds like a promotional article by the developers of X-Plane and not like a news article.
