FSElite Exclusive: FlythemaddogX MD80 Beta Footage – Part 1

The team at Leonardo Soft House has given FSElite the opportunity to have hands-on access to their upcoming FlythemaddogX MD80. Having such unrestricted access to a product prior to release enables us to really dig deep into the aircraft and provide you with lots of footage, screenshots and impressions whilst building up to the release of the product.

Today, I present to you the first video showcasing this beautiful bird. In Part 1, I’ll be taking off from a rainy Miami, whilst also showing you push back, engine start up and taxi. You’ll also be able to see TFDi Design’s True Glass hard at work as well.

Soon, I will share Part 2 giving you insight into cruise, arrival and landing the aircraft.

Just before the product hits release for the public, I’ll also be sharing my ‘First Look’ video giving you a much closer look at systems, modelling and much more.  Finally, not long after the product has been released, we’ll have some footage of FS2Crew integrating with the MD80 to really get you excited for the plane.

Lots of exciting things to come in the future and we hope that you enjoy them! Don’t forget to also check out our exclusive screenshots we shared a few days ago!

Feel free to check out my channel, The Flight Sim Deck for more flight simulator related videos and content.

This is really looking fantastic. Im not buying it, I hate the real plane. But I can appreciate the awesomeness of what this will be.

The middle and outer marker audio was awesome. I’ve never heard an FS aircraft use the fade in and out effect with the marker audio. There is a lot of attention to detail in this aircraft.

Looks good, add FS2Crew for it and it’s definitely going to make flying online fun.
