AviationLads: Visual Mod – Cold Season | PTA and ReShade Preset [FYC]

Suitable for the cold season we just released our AviationLads “VisualMod – Cold Season” to give your sim a nice cold and wintry look and feel.
Our “VisualMod” includes a PTA and ReShade preset as well as recommended sky textures.

Besides the freezing look we further improved the visual appearance of P3Dv4 with a very dark virtual cockpit and terrain lighting at night.
Another highlight of our “VisualMod” is the appearance of the clouds – thanks to the custom “bidirectional cloud lighting” code provided by “TOGA Projects” (ENVTEX/ENVSHADE).

Together with REX4 Enhanced Edition and our recommended settings, available on our website (, you`ll get the best result.

Below we show you some screenshots and we also provide a short and on-the-point tutorial how to install everything and get ready in minutes:

“AviationLads” is run by the Maurice Mockert and Sandro Vitalini. We got in contact during the buildup of a virtual airline. During this process we recognized that we have the same passion for flight simulation and we both love to interact with the community. We decided to combine our passion and know-how to produce high quality flight simulation videos.

Hi Gregg, its VERY stable. I run it since moths and not have any problem with it. There is one effect called “magicbloom.fx” that crashes P3D but we dont use it in our preset.

How stable is Reshade? I’ve heard of problems from the past.
