WF Scenery Studio has released their rendition of Hong Kong International Airport (VHHH) as expected. The developer showed some final previews just a few days ago, and from the state of the scenery in those shots it was already pretty clear the airport would soon be available in our simulators.
The popular airport barely needs an introduction. Successor to Kai Tak airport, which was known for its daunting approach, the airport was opened in 1998. Its a hub for Cathay Pacific amongst a few other airlines, and served roughly 71,5 million passengers in 2019.
WF Scenery Studios rendition of the airport is highly detailed, and includes some of the latest additions to the airport (as also present in their Prepar3D rendition of it). It includes the passenger bridge to the north satellite concourse, as well as the newly built western satellite concourse. The scenery features PBR textures, moving jetways and the iconic tunnel-bridge to Macao.
WF Scenery Studio’s Hong Kong International Airport is available on SimMarket for €19,90.
