Fighter jets continue to be developed for Microsoft Flight Simulator. Developer IRIS Simulations, following on from the announcement of their FA-39 Vampire, has confirmed they are working on the Classic Hornet FA-18C for the simulator. This appears to be

Announced in a post on Facebook, IRIS Simulations said that this is one of “my favourite fast jets” and this will be a “premium” product for Microsoft Flight Simulator. In addition, two previews were shared of the current state of the virtual cockpit which is currently in a render state. Texturing and systems will be applied later. According to IRIS Simulations, major development work will follow on after the FA-39 Vampire has been released.

In addition to the FA-18C, IRIS Simulations has a handful of other fast jets in mind to develop but will be saying what they are in the future. For now, be sure to stay tuned to FSElite where we can continue informing you of the development on the Hornet FA-18C for Microsoft Flight Simulator.
