Orbx Releases Landmarks Singapore for MSFS

Following on from a series of previews over the past few weeks, Orbx has released its latest product for Microsoft Flight Simulator. Landmarks Singapore is a joint venture between Orbx’s Havant and TrueEarth series teams to bring the iconic Asian city to life. The new landmarks package brings the futuristic architecture and the natural beauty of the city together in a high level of detail.

Described as one of the most “idyllic multicultural locations,” the new package includes over 20 highly detailed custom landmarks including Supertree Grove, Helix Bridge, Fullerton Hotel and the Marina Bay Sands Hotel. Further to the custom landmarks, over 100 other custom landmarks to bring the booming city to life, whilst ensuring that performance is balanced with quality. Unique to Landmarks Singapore is a stunning laser light show akin to that of the real-world famous light display.

The night lighting has been enhanced and based on real-world photography of the iconic city. Other enhancements include better details at the harbour ports, industrial areas and also the Singapore Cable Car with animated gondolas.

Scenery developer CloudSurf Asia Simulations has updated their Mega Singapore for X-Plane 11. The new version 2.0 update brings a variety of changes and updates improving on the original package release.

The new version has changed the way in which Autogate is modelled and now uses the SAM plugin to animate the jetways.
