It has been confirmed that the product will be split into two different packages. The first package will be the CRJ 550/700 had will cost €42.00 (plus any local VAT). Those who then want to buy both the 900/1000 models will be able to then buy the additional package for an extra €16.75 (plus any local VAT). It is made clear that if you want to fly the CRJ 900/1000, you will need the ‘base’ CRJ 550/700 package installed. It was also confirmed that the 550/700 will release first.
Mathijs also confirmed that the product will only be sold via the Aerosoft store and also the Microsoft Flight Simulator Marketplace. Aerosoft wants the aircraft release in both stores as soon as possible, but the availability of it being in the store will come to to “how fast Microsoft can handle it”.
As a reminder, beta testing for the aircraft will happen in a few days, and then a release won’t be too far long afterwards. You can see a range of detailed previews and even more information in our previous post.
