LatinVFR Releases Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood for MSFS

Latinvfr Fort Lauderdale Kfll Msfs (2)

Explore another part of Florida with LatinVFR’s Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood Airport (KFLL) for Microsoft Flight Simulator. The airport on the coast of Florida sees numerous airlines serve a number of destinations across the EU and beyond. Over 700 daily flights take off from the airport to all corners of the US, including New York, San Jaun, Chicago and more. In addition, there are plenty of flights to parts of the Caribbean and also South America.

As with other LatinVFR products, the team has included a number of features for the airport including hand-made PBR ground markings and buildings, along with realistic airport lighting. As with the real-world airport, this rendition of the airport has a sloped runway, taxiways and aprons which all conform to the actual profile of the airport. LatinVFR has also included parts of the city including Downtown Fort Lauderdale and Port Everglades.

You can purchase LatinVFR’s Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood Airport for Microsoft Flight Simulator through a variety of stores. You can purchase directly on LatinVFR’s website ($17.99), on Contrail (14.75, excluding VAT) or through simMarket (17.99, excluding VAT). If you haven’t heard of Contrail, you can read more about the application and the developer behind it in our interview.

LatinVFR Roadmap Revealed – Narita (RJAA) and Fort Lauderdale (KFLL) Confirmed

LatinVFR released New Orleans just a few days ago and they seem pretty happy with the release. The team opted to use their own store, and as promised, the team have updated the store to include 13 other LatinVFR products.

Whilst this is exciting news, the roadmap LatinVFR presented may get simmers pretty hyped up. First up, the team re-confirmed that Miami (KMIA) would be getting a PBR makeover in the near future. Whilst the time and effort to make the entire airport with the new technology would be too time-consuming and not financially viable, LatinVFR will apply it to important elements such as ground polys, metallic surfaces, windows/glass, etc. The update will be free of charge to existing customers, but the price for new customers will increase.

As for future products, LatinVFR confirmed that they will be working three new products. The first one to be released is a secret project, which won’t be revealed until a week before release. That one is due out in the summer. The other airports, which have been confirmed are, Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood Int’l (KFLL) and Narita (RJAA).

Fort Lauderdale Airport is due out by the end of the year, with Narita due for release by Spring 2020.

That’s all the details shared for now. Don’t forget to check out their last release of New Orleans via their store. It’s available to buy for $22.90.
