Airfoillabs Announces Dakota C-47 and DC-3 for X-Plane 11

Developer Airfoillabs has announced its latest project, the Dakota C-47 and DC-3 for X-Plane 11.

The DC-3 was a groundbreaking propeller-driven airliner produced by California’s Douglas Aircraft Company from 1936 to 1942. The Douglas C-47 Dakota variant was developed from the DC-3, and was used by the Allies in World War 2. In total, Douglas Aircraft Company built and shipped 607 DC-3s, and 10,174 C-47s.

A small update from Airfoillabs. They have recently released some previews of their upcoming King Air 350. The previews show off the lighting in and on the aircraft, as well as the avionics and the absolute amazing modelling. Unfortunately, nothing is know about the status of the aircraft, other than a status update from last May.

AirFoilLabs, well known for their acclaimed C172 addon for X-Plane, has released more previews of their current project, the Beechcraft King Air 350/350i package for X-Plane. After a hiatus of new information on the project, AirFoilLabs has also given us a new insight into how the aircraft is progressing!
