Following their Greater-Moncton Airport’s release for MSFS, scenery developer Stairport Sceneries has taken to their Facebook page, sharing initial in-sim previews of their Vitoria Airport (LEVT) scenery, soon-to-be-released for MSFS.

Vitoria-Gasteiz Airport is a small regional airport that mainly serves its namesake town of Vitoria-Gasteiz, located to the south of Bilbao in the Spanish Basque country. As it is today, the airport officially opened its doors to the public on January 30th, 1980, with Spanish flag carrier Iberia being the first commercial carrier to burn rubber on the airport’s new runway on April 6th, 1980.

Today, the airport sees limited passenger traffic, with Binter Canarias and Ryanair being the only two commercial carriers operating into and out of the field. In addition to reduced passenger traffic, the airport also serves as a regional cargo hub and package distribution facility for DHL, FedEx, and Spanish cargo operator SwiftAir.

Following the release of this airfield for XP11, Stairport Sceneries has taken to their Facebook page, providing MSFS users with the first in-sim previews of their Vitoria-Gasteiz Airport rendition. Although not providing customers with a detailed feature list, those already familiar with Stairport Sceneries XP11 sceneries should, by observing the provided screenshots, feel reassured that this product does seem to live up to standards set by their previous releases. Judging by the progress depicted in the previews, a release of Vitoria-Gasteiz (LEVT) should not be too far off in the future.
