QualityWings Simulations has today provided an updated on several of their aircraft and what the future holds for them as a developer. In their Q42017 update, they give a ‘more complete’ insight into the 787, their 757 and the BAe 146.
Ultimate 787
Since the Ultimate 787 was release in September, it’s been hotly anticipated for a release on Prepar3D V4. The first test version of the P3DV4 version was sent out to beta testers to identify any specific issues the Ultimate 787 had with the 64-bit platform. As of right now, they have found that there are some issues with night lighting and the TCAS system, so will be giving those items their attention to fix. Furthermore, they’re also working on developing dynamic lighting with the P3Dv4 version of the 787, as well as other specific version which are not included in the FSX version. The pricing of the 787 in P3Dv4 was confirmed back in October to be $69.95. If you already own the FSX/FSX:SE version, you’ll be entitled to 50% off for the first 2 months.
Furthermore, the team are working on releasing Service Pack 1 soon as well. The past couple of hotfixes addresses a few things, but SP1 will fix and change around 50 items.
No release time frame has been provided, but once the team edges closer to completion, they’ll provide us with one as well as new info on what features have been included.
Finally, QualityWings Simulations plan to release a ‘Product Improvement Package’ in the Summer of 2018. Among other improvements, the key element of this update will be to include the 787-10 as a free update for current customers.

Ultimate 757
The Utlimate 757 product from QualityWings Simulations is now 8 years old and is beginning to show its age. As a result, QualityWings has decided to provide some development time to it, which will include some performance updates and changes to the fonts on the CDU. Furthermore, the team will be moving away from the add-on manager for installation and the 757 will be moved to a Flight1 wrapper installer. There will be no charge for this update.
At the same time, the team are also expecting to bring the Ultimate 757 in 2018. As with the Ultimate 787, the team are facing some issues with the TCAS and lighting, which will require some work. They intend to send it to beta testers in January providing things go well. The P3Dv4 version will be a separate purchase at $14.95. This means current owners of the FSX/FS9 version won’t be entitled to discount.

Ultimate BAe 146
QualityWings Simulations did say they would revisit the Ultimate BAe 146 once the 787 had been released, and the team are pleased to confirm it will be coming to P3Dv4 soon. As per the 787 and the 757, they are facing some issues with the TCAS and lighting, but once resolved, it will be sent to the beta team for last minute checks. They’re aiming for this process to happen in January.
No word on pricing, other than it will be sold separately just like the 757.
