JRollon Previews CL415 Canadair for X-Plane

Over on the X-Plane forum, Javier Rollon posted a video where he continues work on the development of the CL415.

JRollon is known for the successful SIAI SF260 Marchetti and the Bombardier CRJ200. In fact, Javier mentions that the CL415 was a project in development before the Marchetti.

The Canadair CL415 was nicknamed the ‘Superscooper’ for its water scooping abilities. It was produced from 1993 until 2015 by Canadair and then later by Bombardier. The aircraft serves in Spanish, Canadian, Greek and Italian firefighting roles.

In the video which is over one and a half hours long, Javier takes viewers through a small chunk of the development process and showcases some of his talents.

Very little information was shared in the post but Javier has access to many photos, blueprints and flight manuals to help replicate the aircraft to a great level of detail.

Be sure to keep your eyes on Javier’s posts for any further updates.
