Update: Thanks to Jake in the comments for pointing out that this product was announced in 2014. We’ve ammended the post just slightly reflecting that.

When iBlueYonder announced Pearson Field back in 2014, it was met with excitement from the community knowing their track record and reputation for putting out extremely high quality sceneries. Since the announcement, it’s been radio silence regarding the project understandably, until now when we have a new batch of previews to show off at last courtesy of the iBlueYonder Facebook page!

You may recall the announcement last month by John Venema regarding Bill Womack rejoining the Orbx team, and all of his prior payware sceneries being brought under the Orbx Direct roof. This should mean that Pearson Field will be available to download and manage via FTX Central, making it extremely easy to install updates and configure the scenery to your heart’s desire.

Pearson Field is said to be “coming very soon”, and we certainly can’t wait for another stunning iBlueYonder field to add to our scenery library! When it’s released, we’ll be sure to let you know ASAP.
